Fuel trailers here are DOT 406 aluminum petroleum tankers, mostly Heil and Polar, in the 9,000 to 9,500 gallon range with four or five compartments for gasoline and diesel delivery. Some are single compartment units for jet fuel, ethanol and transmix work.
We list the compartment layout, the year, the axle and suspension, and whether the unit has a pump and meter. Bottom loading and vapor recovery are noted when present. A few units are brokered for fleets and priced by the unit or as a package.
